Britain's Got Talent (often abbreviated to BGT) is a televised British talent show competition, and part of the global Got Talent franchise created by Simon Cowell. Presented by Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly (colloquially known as Ant & Dec), it is produced by both Thames (formerly Talkback Thames) and Syco Entertainment, distributed by Fremantle, and broadcast on ITV every year in late Spring to early Summer.

Every year, contestants of any age can audition for the show with whatever talent they wish to demonstrate, with auditionees seeking to impress a panel of judges in order to secure a place in the live episodes – the current lineup consists of Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and David Walliams. Those that make it through the auditions compete against other acts in a series of live semi-finals to secure votes from the public and judges, with the winning two acts of each semi-final proceeding into the show's live final. The winning finalist is awarded two prizes – a cash prize, and a place within that year's performances for the Royal Variety Performance before members of the British Royal Family.
